The 74HC5401D is a non-inverting high-speed CMOS Octal Bus Buffer fabricated with silicon gate CMOS Technology. It achieves the high-speed operation similar to equivalent LSTTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. When either G1 or G2 are high, the terminal outputs are in the high-impedance state. All inputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge or transient excess voltage.
