Description

These multimode 650nm laser bars provide efficient and bright laser light output in CW operation. Applications include: Industrial, Illumination, Laser Projectors, and Imaging. Medical applications include photodynamic therapy and aesthetic treatments. Recent developments show that each wavelength has advantages but 650nm to 900nm is the best wavelength because it has the best combination of depth of penetration (low absorption), cellular interaction and energy transfer efficiency.

In total darkness we can see a <5mW 650nm laser around 500 – 1km away when it shines on a white surface. The divergence will make that projected dot 1km away a large dot that reach 20–30m in diameter, and very faint. Green YAG laser pointers at the same power, is in comparison visible up to 4–5km away
