Description
A 4 series 14.8V continuous 7A lithium battery protection board is a Battery Management System (BMS) or protection circuit module (PCM) designed specifically for 4-cell lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery packs.

The board supports a continuous current draw of 7 amps.

This is the maximum current your load can pull without the board shutting down or overheating.

Higher spikes (e.g., 10A for a short time) might be allowed if the board supports a peak discharge rating (check specs).
This module protects your battery from

Overcharge protection – prevents cells from being charged above 4.2V.

Over-discharge protection – stops the battery from dropping below safe limits (usually ~2.5–3.0V per cell).

Overcurrent protection – prevents drawing more than 7A (in this case).

Short-circuit protection – disconnects the battery in case of a short.

Balancing (optional) – ensures all 4 cells are charged to the same voltage.
